DESIGN PROCESS
Initial Meeting:
A decorator will come to your home and spend at least an hour investigating your requirements and answering your questions. Meetings are usually possible within a few days of enquiry. Initial and colour consultations are charged on an hourly basis.
Design and Fee Structure:
The design fee will be subject to a quotation, following the first meeting. This fee covers sourcing of all fabrics, wall and floor coverings, other materials required, acquisition of samples and drafting a floor plan if required. On acceptance of the design fee, a second meeting will be scheduled where a design concept of the colour scheme, materials and overall feel of the design will be presented. Floor plans, pencil sketches and computer drawings will be provided where necessary to illustrate the suggestions together with actual samples of the materials specified. Estimated costs for the supplies and services will be provided as part of the design fee. Payment of the design fee is not dependent upon progression of the project and 50% deposit is payable upon acceptance of the design fee with the remainder payable upon delivery of the sample board or design specifications. We implement the approved concept by ordering materials, making arrangements with tradespeople, and supervising the project to satisfactory completion.
Supply of materials:
Fabrics, wall coverings, furniture, floor coverings, light fittings etc. are supplied at competitive retail pricing. A detailed quotation is supplied for the client’s approval prior to the placement of any purchase orders.
